How to use Financial Evidence: EODHD + Jev
Inspect dated financial context and ask whether supplied articles actually bear on the question.
Before you start
This is an invited preview requiring an authorized signed-in account. EODHD supplies data; TypeSafe’s Jev classifies supplied article evidence. Neither resolves the market for you.
Open Financial Evidence: EODHD + JevStep by step
- In Research, enter or select the exact market question.
- Find Put your prediction to the test. Enter a qualified symbol such as AAPL.US in Related financial ticker only when relevant.
- Paste the full criteria into Exact resolution rules, including deadline. Include the source, time zone, and exceptions.
- Select Check the evidence. Inspect the price dates and article links, then compare each classification with the article and the rules.
Worked example
An article about strong demand may be context for a revenue question but cannot establish the final reported revenue. Likewise, an end-of-day price does not prove an intraday threshold at the rule’s specified exchange.
What the result means
Supports, challenges, context, unrelated, and insufficient describe the supplied evidence. Classification confidence is not the chance of YES. EODHD closes are historical, unadjusted values in the instrument’s quoted units; confirm currency and exact symbol at the source.
If something goes wrong
If access is denied, sign in with your invited account. If an endpoint or symbol is unavailable, check coverage rather than changing the question to force a result. Missing articles or an unavailable classification are evidence gaps.
Check your understanding
Read one article marked context or unrelated. Explain what additional primary evidence would be necessary to resolve the question.
